| About | In 2019, Derbent Maden Inc. commenced the production of block marbles in Saraylar, Marmara. With a mining legacy dating back to the 1940s, the Dereli Family, spanning three generations, has been a stalwart in the industry. Originating on Marmara Island, the family’s initial venture involved supplying dolomite from Saraylar to glass factories. Presently, the Dereli Family operates in the chipped calcite industry through Dereli Mermer Granit Maden A.Ş. and in the block marble industry through Derbent Maden A.Ş. on Marmara Island. We work with different partners around the world – we have several advisors and exclusive clients from Italy, but we also have customers in Japan, China, Egypt and India. |
